Soccer Recap: Narrows Comes Up Short

Narrows and Fort Chiswell squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Narrows had to settle for second. They lost 7-0 to the Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Fort Chiswell this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-2 defeat back in April.

Narrows has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Fort Chiswell, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 15-6.

Narrows does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Chiswell, they will square off against Auburn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Fort Chiswell's defense better be ready for this one: Auburn have averaged an impressive 3.7 goals per game this season.
