Pine Creek scored a shocking upset when it eliminated Falcon, 29-13. At the time, the Falcons were ranked 14th in the state, while the Eagles were 33rd.

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Pine Creek, who defeated 14th ranked Falcon, 29-13. Scotty Savage ran for 145 yards during the win.

Vista Ridge's dynamic duo of Elway Tubbs and Jaquan Overbey proved tough for Rampart to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Tubbs threw for 206 yards and 3 touchdowns and Overbey had 100 yards receiving. Tyrique Armstrong helped Vista Ridge's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 50 yards.

Zach McKinley made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Rams fell to the Wolves. The 6-foot-1 senior forced 1 fumble.

Micheal DeCarmo was a beast in the backfield as Sand Creek bested Air Academy.

DeCarmo provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Scorpions beat the Kadets. He completed 5 passes for 78 yards and 3 touchdowns and also ran for 273 yards. DeCarmo's key target this week was Jordan Preston, who caught 4 passes for 51 yards.

He was 13-14 with 0 interceptions.

Rampart's Cameron Hacker and Clayton Hacker have formed a dream team this season, leading 4A Pikes Peak in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Hacker has thrown for 1,350 yards this season, while Hacker has 32 catches for 527 yards. Terry Poirer and Brian Green's team's Kalen Ballage leads the league in rushing yards with 1,220.

The Falcons' offense has scored 211 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while Ponderosa has allowed only 50 on the year.

DeCarmo of the Sand Creek is just 52 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 91 carries DeCarmo has accumulated 948 yard this year.

As it stands, the Mustangs are in third, while Falcon is in second.

The Eagles were able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after defeating the Falcons. Pine Creek came in at 20 in the state poll after placing at number 33 last week.
