Baseball Game Preview: Archmere Academy Auks vs. St. Mark's Spartans

Archmere Academy is 1-7 against St. Mark since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Archmere Academy will square off against St. Mark's at 4:00 p.m.

Last Friday, Archmere Academy came up short against Salesianum and fell 8-3.

Meanwhile, St. Mark's put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lake Forest, sneaking past 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory St. Mark's has posted since May 7, 2024.

St. Mark's pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Archmere Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Archmere Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Mark's when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 5-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for Archmere Academy since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
