Volleyball Recap: Triton Takes a Loss

If Triton was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of South Bend Career Academy on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies on Monday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Pilgrims/Rockies recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-12, 22-25, 25-13.

When it comes to explaining why Triton lost, don't look at Sophie Howell. Despite the final result, she had eight digs and two aces.

Triton's loss dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Plymouth, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-11.

Triton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Caston on the 7th. As for Plymouth, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Northridge on the 9th.
