Roosevelt had won four straight games and Ehis Idoni did his part to make it five on Friday. The Rough Riders blew past the Torres Toros, posting a 46-14 victory with plenty of help from Idoni, who rushed for 172 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Torres, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Roosevelt will face off against rival Sunnyside at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Torres is set to square off against their familiar foe McLane at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
