Stuarts Draft extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 7-8 in the process. They put the hurt on the Staunton Storm with a sharp 8-1 victory. That seven run margin sets a new team best for the Cougars this season.

As for Staunton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. Their loss continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

For Staunton's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Neil, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run.
