Baseball Recap: Lake Comes Up Short

Lake fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Columbian on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tornadoes by a score of 5-4.

Lake's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Columbian, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-11 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake will host Rossford at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Flyers are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Columbian, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Sandusky at 4:45 p.m.
