Football Game Preview: Sierra Grande Panthers vs. Granada Bobcats

Sierra Grande hasn't had much luck against Granada recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Panthers will welcome the Bobcats at 12:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Saturday. Sierra Grande breezed past Flagler to the tune of 56-19. Winning may never get old, but Sierra Grande sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Granada, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in October. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Bethune 75-38. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-20.

Sierra Grande's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Granada, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Sierra Grande was dealt a bruising 52-22 defeat at the hands of Granada when the teams last played back in October of 2023. Thankfully for the Panthers, Jonus Guevara (who picked up 39 receiving yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 72 yards on only seven carries) won't be suiting up this time.
