Volleyball Recap: Walden Comes Up Short

Walden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Francis Parker Wyverns. The Wolverines were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wyverns apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Walden's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Francis Parker, they moved to 2-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Walden has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Highlands Latin on the 12th. As for Francis Parker, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Presentation on the 11th.
