Softball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Metamora's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

Metamora never let their opponents score on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Sterling Golden Warriors with a sharp 10-0 win. The Redbirds might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 games by six runs or more this season.

Metamora has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Sterling, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 18-10.

As of now, neither Metamora nor the Golden Warriors have any future games scheduled.
