Derby has gone a perfect 10-0 against Arkansas City recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another. Arkansas City took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Derby, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Derby was able to grind out a solid victory over Maize, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Arkansas City came up short against Eisenhower on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20.

Derby's win bumped their record up to 16-17-1. As for Arkansas City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-23 record this season.

Derby beat Arkansas City 2-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
