Football Recap: Alijah Jenkins' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Osceola over Lake Mary + How To Watch

After soaring to 35 points the game before, Osceola was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They fell 17-12 to the Lake Mary Rams. If the Kowboys were looking for revenge after losing 24-7 to the Rams when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Osceola lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Alijah Jenkins, who rushed for 78 yards on only 11 carries, and also picked up 48 receiving yards. Jeffrey Sinophat was in the mix too, providing Osceola with two touchdowns.

Even if they lost, Osceola's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Amier Clarke was especially locked on to Lake Mary's QB and sacked him twice. Clarke is on a roll when it comes to sacks, as he's now posted at least one in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Osceola's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lake Mary, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Osceola will head out to face off against Winter Haven at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Mary, they will venture away from home to challenge Lakeland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
