Baseball Game Preview: Jefferson Raiders vs. Beamer Titans

Jefferson is 9-1 against Beamer since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Raiders will venture away from home to face off against the Titans at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Jefferson has four straight victories, Beamer has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Jefferson and Federal Way had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Raiders were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Eagles on Monday. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.

Myles Myers was a standout: he got on base in three of his five plate appearances with six stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Jefferson is 7-1 when Myers posts two or more runs, but 1-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Ikaika Frank, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with five stolen bases and three runs.

Jefferson hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Beamer's offense. They came up short against Enumclaw on Monday, falling 6-0.

Beamer's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Jefferson, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Jefferson got the 'W' when the teams last played back in May of 2025 against Beamer by a conclusive 11-1 score. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
