Football Recap: Steinbrenner Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Steinbrenner extended their losing streak to seven on Friday, dropping them down to 1-7. They were beaten by the Armwood Hawks 58-0. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Hawks are ranked eighth).

Rylen Dutka threw for 86 yards on eight of 20 attempts. Chance Robertson was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards.

As for Armwood, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 43.1 points this season.

Armwood's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rhys Brush, who rushed for 45 yards and one TD, and also threw for 90 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight passes. Mikhail Solomon was in the mix too, providing the Hawks with two scores.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Steinbrenner will venture away from home to face off against Palm Harbor University at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Armwood, they will head out to challenge Wharton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
