Park Vista had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Boca Raton Bobcats on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Cobras as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Cody Wexler looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Micheal Maynes, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Anthony Espinoza, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Park Vista hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive matches.

Park Vista's record is now 20-4. As for Boca Raton, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-21.

As of now, neither Park Vista nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
