Softball Recap: Mission San Jose's Win Ends Seven-Game Losing Streak on the Road

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Mission San Jose ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past the Washington Huskies 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since April 23, 2024.

Hailey Pan spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Emma Lee, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
