Jennings had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 11-10 W against the Breaux Bridge Tigers. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 9-8 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Colson Mack, who scored a run while going 3-for-5. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in February. Maddox Hebert was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Jennings pushed their record up to 6-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Breaux Bridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jennings will head out to face off against North Vermilion at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jennings is facing North Vermilion at the right time seeing as North Vermilion is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Breaux Bridge, they will venture away from home to square off against Beau Chene at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Breaux Bridge has given up an average of 7.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
