It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Red Bank Regional can now relate to. They took a 55-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Neptune Scarlet Fliers. The Bucs' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Neptune's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bre Evans led the charge by putting up 14 points and three steals. Evans has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyeera Howard, who went 6-for-15 en route to 20 points and seven rebounds.

Red Bank Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Neptune, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Red Bank Regional nor Neptune have any future games scheduled.
