Smoky Mountain has gone a perfect 10-0 against East Henderson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mustangs are taking a road trip to take on the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

On Tuesday, Smoky Mountain came up short against Tuscola and fell 10-5.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for East Henderson's offense. They lost 15-0 to Pisgah on Tuesday.

East Henderson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Malea Bailey, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one double.

Smoky Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for East Henderson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.

Smoky Mountain beat East Henderson 6-2 in their previous meeting back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
