Riverdale's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Cedar Grove with a sharp 20-0 win. Considering the Raiders have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Jacob Rachmann was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Keith Demps, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five stolen bases, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Keith Haylock was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Jamarius Glover made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Anthony Alexander, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases.
Riverdale pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Douglass, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
Wednesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Riverdale has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .522.
