Basketball Recap: Enochs Takes a Loss

Enochs came up into this matchup off a tough 39-point loss on Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Heritage Patriots by a score of 59-56 on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Heritage to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olanre Owoborode, who posted 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daruis Walker, who scored 11 points.

Enochs' loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Heritage, their record now sits at 2-3.

Enochs and Oakdale will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Oakdale will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Enochs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Heritage, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage is facing Freedom at the right time seeing as Freedom is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
