Basketball Game Preview: Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls vs. East Mountain Timberwolves

The Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls are taking a road trip to challenge the East Mountain Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Oak Grove Classical Academy is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing To'hajiilee: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Oak Grove Classical Academy blew To'hajiilee out of the water with an 87-25 final score. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 59-11.

Ivan Moore was his usual excellent self, putting up 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Rush, who posted 15 points.

Meanwhile, East Mountain put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past To'hajiilee 82-41. While the Timberwolves didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

East Mountain's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Oak Grove Classical Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
