Baseball Recap: Copper Basin Comes Up Short

Copper Basin lost against Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cougars came up short against the Eagles, falling 16-3. The Cougars' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Copper Basin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zeb West, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Copper Basin's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Copper Basin will challenge Lookout Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts, they will square off against Tyner Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles are facing the Rams at the right time seeing as the Rams are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
