The Bolles Bulldogs will take on the Bishop Snyder Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Bolles has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Bishop Snyder will arrive with four straight wins.
Bolles is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They fell 16-13 to Andrew Jackson on Monday.

Leighton Dostie was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-2. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. Molly Eyrick also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Even though they lost, Bolles kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
While Bishop Snyder didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Their pitcher stepped up to hand St. Johns Country Day a 16-0 shutout on Thursday. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by 13 runs or more this season.
St. Johns Country Day's batters probably weren't too happy with Caitlyn Boshell, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 13 Ks (she gave up a single walk). Boshell has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Chloe Gotto, who went 4-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Ava Williamson was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
Bishop Snyder's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 12 runs. As for Bolles, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Bolles has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.2 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Bishop Snyder struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Bolles suffered a grim 20-5 defeat to Bishop Snyder in their previous matchup last Friday. Can Bolles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
