Volleyball Recap: Whitewater Extends Home Winning Streak to Ten

Whitewater barely beat Fayette County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win on Saturday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Whitewater not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Fayette County between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-18.

Whitewater pushed their record up to 22-6-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. As for Fayette County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-20 record this season.

Whitewater has the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Trinity Christian at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Fayette County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
