Baseball Recap: Chandler Prep Picks Up 12th Straight Win at Home

Chandler Prep had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They came out on top against the Anthem Prep Eagles by a score of 6-2. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Chandler Prep let Niall Schubring and Emet Yates run wild. Schubring went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run, while Yates went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave Schubring a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ryan Hong, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Chandler Prep's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Anthem Prep, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-8 record.
