Preview: Detroit Eagles vs. Rivercrest Rebels
The Detroit Eagles will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Rivercrest Rebels at 6:30 p.m. Rivercrest took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Detroit, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Detroit earned a 37-30 victory over Bowie.
Meanwhile, Rivercrest came up short against Clarksville on Friday and fell 50-38. Rivercrest has not had much luck with Clarksville recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Defeat or not, Rivercrest got some senior leadership from Anna Duvall and Alexis Carey. Duvall scored 25 points along with three steals, while Carey. scored six points along with three steals. Carey hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games.
Detroit's victory bumped their record up to 10-20. As for Rivercrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-18.
Detroit beat Rivercrest 47-39 when the teams last played on January 5th. Will Detroit repeat their success, or does Rivercrest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
