Softball Recap: Marion Comes Up Short

Marion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 8-3 to the North Polk Comets.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for North Polk, their win bumped their record up to 12-3.

Coincidentally, Marion and North Polk will both be playing Xavier the next time they take the field. The Comets will head out to face the Saints on Friday, while the Wolves will play them later in the day, at 9:30 a.m.
