Monroeville and Calvert squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Monroeville had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Senecas. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their 23-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Monroeville lost, don't look at Addison Homan. Despite the final result, she had 15 digs and one assist. Homan is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last 31 games she's played dating back to last season.

Leading Calvert to victory were Claire Schoenberger and Bella Borgio. Schoenberger had 17 digs and two aces, while Borgio hit 60% for 12 kills and 17 digs and six aces. That's the most digs Schoenberger has posted since back in October.

Monroeville's loss dropped their record down to 25-3. As for Calvert, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 29-0.

As of now, neither Monroeville nor the Senecas have any future games scheduled.
