Football Recap: East Lyme Comes Up Short + How To Watch

East Lyme played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 46-7 loss at the hands of the Ledyard Colonels. The Vikings were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-0.

Kevin Goshaw threw for 31 yards while completing 71.4% of his passes.

It was another big night for Jackson Favry, who rushed for 252 yards and three TDs while picking up 14.0 yards per carry for Ledyard. With that strong performance, Favry is now averaging an impressive 113.4 rushing yards per game. Jackson Grimm was another key rusher, rushing for 78 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

East Lyme has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Ledyard, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Coming up, East Lyme will take on Stratford at 6:30 p.m. on the 7th. As for Ledyard, they will challenge Woodstock Academy at 12:00 p.m. on the 8th.
