While Pinelands Regional didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They strolled past The Pilgrim Academy Pioneers with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 53-36. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Despite the loss, The Pilgrim Academy still got an impressive performance from Mason Parmer, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Parmer is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ayden Miller, who posted seven points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.

Pinelands Regional's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for The Pilgrim Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Pinelands Regional Wildcats face off against the Lacey Township Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for The Pilgrim Academy, they will face off against Somerset Bible Baptist Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Somerset Bible Baptist Christian Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something The Pilgrim Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
