Volleyball Recap: Boron Wins Going Away Against Mojave

Boron won the last time they faced Mojave and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bobcats were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mustangs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bobcats.

While Boron won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21, 25-23.

Ashayla Quick paced Boron's offense, picking up eight kills. Quick got some help from Aaliyah Davis and her 11 assists. Davis was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Boron's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Boron will challenge Lone Pine at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mojave, they will square off against Antelope Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
