Volleyball Game Preview: Ridgway Demons vs. Norwood Mavericks + How To Watch

The Ridgway Demons will head out on the road to face off against the Norwood Mavericks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ridgway has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 18.

Ridgway lost 3-0 to Dolores on Tuesday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Norwood didn't have quite enough to beat Ouray on Tuesday and fell 3-2. While the Mavericks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Trojans 25-19 in the first set.

Norwood actually scored more points across those five sets (104-95), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-21, 25-21, 11-25, 15-12.

Norwood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Ridgway, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Ridgway couldn't quite get it done against Norwood when the teams last played back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Demons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
