            Alleman's game  on Monday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Riverdale Rams by a score of  7-2. For the Pioneers, this counts as revenge for the   13-3 victory the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in May of 2023.
 CJ Carruthers and  Kelly Honert dominated on the mound. Carruthers  pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits, while  Honert  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Honert has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 12 consecutive appearances.

 On the hitting side,  Nolan Buchen was  excellent,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  stolen bases and two  runs. Those  three  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high.  Will Bowers was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run.
Alleman's win was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 23-9. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Riverdale, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record  this season.
 Alleman will be playing at home against Quincy  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Blue Devils will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  win, something the Pioneers surely won't give up without a fight. Riverdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
