Fairfax HomeSchool's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the Covenant Christian Academy Golden Eagles 51-31. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Covenant Christian Academy lost, don't look at Ryan Candland. Despite the final result, he posted 23 points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Alibaruho, who had five points and five rebounds.

Fairfax HomeSchool's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Covenant Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Fairfax HomeSchool wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 88-36 loss against Evergreen Christian on the 17th. As for Covenant Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fredericksburg V at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
