It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact IC Catholic Prep can now relate to. They fell just short of the North Boone Vikings by a score of 7-6 on Monday. The Knights' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Kelly Cahill made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Russ, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

IC Catholic Prep's loss dropped their record down to 22-14. As for North Boone, they are on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 23 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season.

As of now, neither IC Catholic Prep nor North Boone have any future games scheduled.
