Basketball Recap: Bishop Carroll Huskies vs. Forest Hills Rangers
Bishop Carroll had lost four straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 10-12 to make it five. They were outmatched by the Forest Hills Rangers and fell 77-39. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 80-50 back in December of 2025.
As for Forest Hills, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 22 points or more this season.
Forest Hills' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Koy McGough led the charge by shooting 73% from the field on his way to 20 points along with seven assists and seven boards. Those 73% shooting accuracy gave McGough a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Stohon, who went 9-for-16 to rack up 18 points and five rebounds.
Bishop Carroll does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Forest Hills, they will square off against Clearfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rangers will need to watch out since the Bison have now posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.
