Soccer Recap: Unity Reed Takes a Loss

Unity Reed was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Battlefield Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Unity Reed of the 6-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Unity Reed's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Battlefield, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Unity Reed and Battlefield will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Lions see the pitch they'll take on Osbourn at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Battlefield, their break will end when they face Gainesville at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th.
