Football Recap: Clint Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Clint kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were outmatched by the Andrews Mustangs and fell 54-0. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost five in a row.

Beau Hudson went supernova For Andrews., rushing for 202 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries. Hudson really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of JaeSean DeBouse, who rushed for 93 yards and a pair of scores on only 12 carries.

Clint wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 36-21 defeat against Gadsden on the 5th. As for Andrews, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 22-16 loss against Canyon on the 5th.
