Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Philip Pirozzi stepped things up a notch to give Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK the 'W'. Pirozzi went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. That stolen base was his first of the season.

Pirozzi's strong effort led Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK over Herricks and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
