Recap: Santaluces Chiefs vs. Boca Raton Bobcats
The Santaluces Chiefs lost against the Boca Raton Bobcats back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Santaluces took a 52-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Boca Raton. Santaluces has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Santaluces still got an impressive performance from Decarious Jenkins, who scored 21 points along with 4 steals. Jenkins scored a full 47.7% of Santaluces' points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Michael Hamilton, who scored 4 points.
Santaluces has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Boca Raton, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Santaluces will head out on the road to face off against Leonard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Leonard is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. Boca Raton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Olympic Heights at 7:30 p.m. on December 15th.
