Volleyball Recap: Western Dubuque Extends Winning Streak to Four

Western Dubuque came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Independence Mustangs. The Bobcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Western Dubuque's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Western Dubuque will venture away from home to challenge Iowa City West at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Independence, they will head out to square off against West Delaware at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
