Volleyball Recap: Scottsdale Christian Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus Camp Verde

It's playoff time, and Scottsdale Christian Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Camp Verde Cowboys on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Cowboys recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 25-7.

Lucy Dickerson was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 12 digs and four assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October.

Scottsdale Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 11 consecutive matchups.

Scottsdale Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 33-6. As for Camp Verde, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 21-12 record.

Looking ahead, Scottsdale Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Trivium Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Camp Verde does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
