Volleyball Recap: Greendale Takes a Loss

Greendale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the DeForest Norskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Cadence Weidel paced Greendale's offense, picking up seven kills. Weidel got some help from Claire Endter and her eight assists. Endter was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Greendale's loss dropped their record down to 6-30. As for DeForest, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 27-10.

Looking ahead, Greendale will square off against Milwaukee Reagan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for DeForest, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Beaver Dam on the 18th.
