Softball Recap: Rocky River Pirates vs. Valley Forge Patriots
Rocky River's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the Valley Forge Patriots get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory. The Pirates haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Reagan Kane was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than 12 strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Leigh Konet was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Elizabeth Smalley, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
