Volleyball Recap: Freedom Christian Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Freedom Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Northwood Temple Academy Eagles on Tuesday. For the Patriots, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Freedom Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-10, 25-22, 25-18.

Despite the defeat, Northwood Temple Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Saraya Powell had 15 digs and three aces.
