Volleyball Recap: Horseshoe Bend Extends Winning Streak to Three

Horseshoe Bend had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Council Lumberjacks with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Horseshoe Bend never let Council on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-22, 25-9.

Horseshoe Bend's record now sits at 16-5. As for Council, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Horseshoe Bend is set to square off against their familiar foe Garden Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Council will take on rival Tri-Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
