Basketball Recap: Sylvan Hills Takes a Loss

Sylvan Hills was the 64-57 winner over Greenbrier when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Sylvan Hills Bears fell 50-41 to the Greenbrier Panthers on Tuesday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sylvan Hills' loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Greenbrier, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Sylvan Hills and Greenbrier could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings. Sylvan Hills will challenge Little Rock Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday down 119 places (131 vs. 12). Meanwhile, Greenbrier (ranked 92nd) will meet Vilonia (ranked 17th) at 6:00 p.m. on January 28th.
