Football Recap: Lawrence Central Comes Up Short on the Road Against Lawrence North

Lawrence Central had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 34-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lawrence North Wildcats. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Izayveon Moore was nothing short of spectacular for Lawrence North: he rushed for 155 yards and three scores.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lawrence Central will square off against Zionsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lawrence North, they will take on Fishers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
