Softball Recap: Mcclintock Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

McClintock entered their tilt with Central on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Bobcats 22-2. That's more bragging rights for the Chargers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The team relied heavily on Arieana Sepulveda, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Stella Colla, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.

McClintock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .806. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

McClintock pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.3 runs over those games. As for Central, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: McClintock beat the Bobcats by a score of 25-0 on Wednesday.
